Binh Duong has so far launched a price stability program for 4 years. In this year, the program has been started from April, 2012 to April 2013 with 8 essential items. Regarding the issue, the provincial department of Trade and Industry vice manager Nguyen Van Sau, said:
We encourage local businesses to join in the program. The participants must obey regulations on price registration, weight, origin of goods, expiry date… the organizing board will spur promulgation and introduction on trademark, product, State’s policies and excel distribution system across localities and increase goods selling locations throughout rural localities.
Could you tell about new characters of this year’s program?
Firstly, this year has 2 more new companies involving in the program. They include Thu Dau Mot Investment and Trade-Service JSC and Pham Ton Co.Ltd.
Secondly, the provincial People’s Committee and relevant agencies and businesses agreed on selling prices based on factors of pricing establishment.
In addition, businesses will adjust goods sources and prices based on market fluctuation.
