Early December 26, provincial People's Committee held a ceremony to inaugurate the work on road and bridge connecting Binh Duong and Tay Ninh provinces. The work has total investment of VND 411.88 billion from provincial State budget.

The event was attended by former President Nguyen Minh Triet. On the side of Binh Duong province, there were Nguyen Van Loi, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of provincial Party Committee, Head of provincial National Assembly deputy delegation; Vo Van Minh, Vice-Secretary of provincial Party Committee, Chairman of provincial People's Committee; Nguyen Van Loc, member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of provincial Party Committee’s Commission for Mass Mobilization, Chairman of provincial Fatherland Front Committee; members of provincial Party Standing Committee; leaders of provincial People's Council, People's Committee; leaders of departments and sectors.
On the side of Tay Ninh province, there were Nguyen Thanh Tam, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of provincial Party Committee, Chairman of provincial People's Council; Pham Hung Thai, Permanent Vice-Secretary of provincial Party Committee, Head of provincial National Assembly Deputy Delegation; Nguyen Thanh Ngoc, Vice-Secretary of provincial Party Committee, Chairman of provincial People's Committee; Duong Van Thang, Vice-Chairman of provincial People's Committee.
The work on road and bridge connecting Binh Duong and Tay Ninh provinces has a length of 800.39 meters with the part leading to Binh Duong province of 377.7m long, the part leading to Tay Ninh province of 92.2m long. The work has the starting point of the project intersecting with DT744 street Dau Tieng town’s quarter 6 in Dau Tieng district in Binh Duong province, the end point connecting to the Dat Set - Ben Cui road project invested by Tay Ninh, located at Km 0+800.38 in Duong Minh Chau district.
The part of the road is designed under the standard of 3rd-grade plain road, with the designed speed of 80km/h. Especially, the residential road under the bridge is designed with the speed of 20km/h. The road is 28.5m wide, with 6 lanes. The section that arranges the turning curve for the vehicle to go under the bridge is 37m wide...
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Danh praised and acknowledged the efforts by the investor, consulting and construction contractors, officials and workers who worked day and night to build the work, ensuring its quality and fine art in accordance with the requirements set forth.
At the ceremony, Mr. Thang affirmed that the inauguration of the work has not only connected the two provinces of Binh Duong and Tay Ninh, but also opened up a new connection direction, a new development space for the area to the economic-political centers and major transport hub of the region, to international border gates. In particular, this route forms up a new journey to help the transportation of goods in the region more conveniently. He emphasized that the work has shown the determination, solidarity and high responsibility of the whole political system of the two localities to the region in general and the two provinces of Tay Ninh and Binh Duong in particular, especially realized the aspirations of people in two districts of Dau Tieng in Binh Duong and Duong Minh Chau in Tay Ninh.
