Early March 17, Medochemie Co.Ltd. under the Cypriot Medochemie Group held a groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of its factory making various pharmaceutical products.
The factory is built on an area of 44,700 square meters with total investment capital of more than US$16.1mln. It includes 3 workshops under WHO-GMP and EU-GMP’s standards and is expected to be completed by the end of 2015 and put into operation in early 2016.
This is the company’s second factory in Binh Duong. Prior to that, the company built its first factory of 18,400 square meters at VSIP II with total investment capital of nearly US$14mln.
Addressing the ceremony, Tran Thanh Liem, Vice-Chairman of provincial People’s Committee spoke highly of the company’s factory project and wanted that the company would fulfill and put it into operation in the soonest time. He added: “Provincial leaders together with sectors in the province have always created favorable conditions for investors in the province in general and Medochemie Co.Ltd. in particular to remove difficulties in the process of implementing and putting their projects into operation”.
