Early December 22, provincial Union of Science and Technology Associations in collaboration with the Center for Science and Technology Information and Statistics under provincial Department of Science and Technology held a workshop on "Application of 4.0 technology into digital transformation activities”.
At the workshop, delegates heard and discussed 6 topics around the topic of digital transformation and methods of applying technology into digital transformation, including: "Propaganda and dissemination of regulatory documents, status and trends of 4.0 technology application in digital transformation”; “Digitalization of business operations”; “The IoT application model and popular communication standards”; “Solution for smart factory”; “Application of AI in information security solutions”; "Lending policy to encourage development and application of science and technology in Binh Duong province".
Speaking at the workshop, Lai Xuan Thanh, Chairman of the Union of Science and Technology Associations hoped the workshop aimed at creating conditions for agencies, units and businesses to access and familiarize themselves with the basic concepts of some 4.0 technologies as well as ability to apply these technologies to the digital transformation process of agencies and units in the coming time.
According to Nguyen Viet Long, Director of provincial Department of Science and Technology, in the digital transformation plan of the science and technology sector to 2025, with a vision to 2030, many key tasks have been set out to promote the digital transformation of the sector as well as consulting, supporting businesses in digital transformation in their fields. In particular, the sector has encouraged organizations, individuals and scientists to order research and application of some core technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI), blockchain (Blockchain), virtual reality/augmented reality (VR/AR) that are capable of creating strong breakthroughs. He expressed his hope that after the workshop, agencies, units, institutes, schools and businesses will conduct research and effectively apply the 4.0 technology in the digital transformation process in their units.
