The National Committee for International Economic Cooperation, on December 16, held a workshop on “Binh Duong’s capacity of international economic cooperation-Vision and its prospect” at Lucky Square Convention Center in Binh Duong New City.
The workshop aimed to have a grasp of advantages and disadvantages of localities in the process of international economic integration since 1986 for suitable measures from the Government to enhance the effectiveness of the process, contributing to the national development.
At the workshop, the National Committee for International Economic Cooperation acknowledged Binh Duong’s petitions on attraction of resources for timely adjustment towards sustainable development and contributed ideas to the province’s socio-economic development plan in line with the conditions and benefits of the international economic integration.
Many issues relating to the Trans-Pacific Strategic Economic Partnership Agreement (TTP), the Regional Economic Partnership Agreement (RCEP), the ASEAN Economic Community (AEC)…were also mentioned at the workshop, helping enterprises and sectors in the province to obviously know about advantages for suitable plans and programs.
On the afternoon of the same day, the National Committee for International Economic Cooperation cooperated with provincial Department of Industry and Trade to organize a workshop on “Intergation capacity of garment and textile industry”. The workshop focused on the issues of materials, design, infrastructure, workforce…to improve the competitive capacity of the garment and textile industry, facilitating enterprises in this industry when the TPP takes effect.
