In the morning of June 11, the Department of Transport and Transportation in collaboration with Freyssinet Vietnam Co., Ltd. organized a seminar on expansion joints and bridge bearings; technology for repairing, strengthening and expanding bridge constructions in the province. Attending the seminar were leaders of Department of Transport - Universities in the province, Project Management Boards of districts, towns and cities, BOT enterprises, construction consulting companies in the province. .

In Vietnam, Freyssinet has participated in many projects, load upgrading works, such as Binh Trieu 1 Bridge, Chu Y Bridge (Y-shaped Bridge) in Ho Chi Minh City.
According to Department of Transport, there are over 300 road and bridge constructions in Binh Duong province, with structures ranging from simple to different cantilever. Of these, many have been put into use for decades. Along with the increase in the number and the load that makes some joints open, the bearings are often damaged directly affecting the bearing capacity of the bridges. The seminar is an opportunity for departments, branches, localities, construction consultancy units and BOT enterprises to access solutions and technologies in repairing, upgrading and expanding the road and bridge system in order to contribute. The part both increases the load capacity, while ensuring the safety of people and vehicles.
