Constant development
Licensed on March 14, 1995, YEV is specialized in manufacture of electric wires for automobiles of Mazda, Suzuki and Toyota…The company’s first factory of more than 30,000 sq.m was put into operation in Di An town in 1996. Thanks to developing on a favorable investment climate, YEV has taken fruits in production and business. In 2011, YEV expanded its workshop area to 60,000sq.m with 4,700 laborers. Many production lines were also invested at the company’s requirements of production expansion.
Seven years later, YEV continued building its second factory of 50,000sq.m in the My Phuoc I Industrial Park in Ben Cat district, bringing its total production area to 110,000 sq.m. Till 2012, under the approval of Tra Vinh provincial People’s Committee, YEV opened its third factory of 4,000sq.m. The factory has brought YEV’s total production area so far to 114,000sq.m with 8,322 laborers (80% of whom are female) and total investment capital of approximately US$40.5mln.
YEV’s total revenue in 2013 is estimated at more than US$6.816trillion. In 2012, YEV paid VND50.444bln for State budget and the figure in 2013 is estimated at around VND66.389bln. The average income of the company’s laborers in 2013 will increase by more than 10% compared to 2012…
Taking good care of laborers
Since its inception, YEV has always taken good care of laborers’ lives via many practical activities. The company’s Trade Union has worked very effectively, contributing to creating a harmonious labor relation. This has also helped the company stabilize its production and business activities.
The company’s Trade Union has also paid more attention to law dissemination among laborers, helping raise their awareness of legitimate rights and interests. In addition, the Trade Union has suggested the company’s directorate to commend and reward outstanding laborers. The company has always observed labor laws while providing laborers with incentive policies, contributing to taking care of their lives.
Such these apart, YEV has attached special importance to organizing many sports and cultural activities for laborers, making favorable conditions for them to relax after hard working hours. Laborers herein have also enjoyed tours on the occasion of the company’s founding anniversary and great holidays.

Towards community
YEV has recognized as a “green” enterprise for many consecutive years. The company has so far built 3 waste treatment systems with the average capacity of 300cu.m a day. Annually, the company spends around VND1.9bln on maintaining and operating the 3 systems and more than VND80mln for other environmental production activities.
The company was also granted the ISO 14001:2004 certification of Environmental Management System from UKAS and became one of Binh Duong’s first enterprises granted the certification meeting standards on environment in accordance with the Law on Environmental Protection. In 2011 and 2012, YEV was recognized as an outstanding enterprise in environmental protection…
Besides, YEV has always associated its success in production and business with responsibility to the society. The company has actively got involved in social charity activities for the sake of the community, including donating unity houses to the poor, presenting books to schools, giving Tet gifts for the poor…
