Young people inspired and helped to start up

As the COVID-19 epidemic has become complicated and unexpected and caused the socio-economic situation to face many difficulties and challenges, the process of digital transformation is also promoted faster and stronger to create a new wave and new game in the midst of integration as well as to encourage people, especially young people to participate in the creative startup movement that the province has organized by many meaningful and far-reaching programs over the past time.

Inspiration for start-up

As a locality with a dynamically developing economy at the top of the Southern key economic region and the whole country, Binh Duong is showing its determination to develop and increase the quantity and quality of economic models that have the potential to be successful with high ‘gray matter’ contents. In the process of innovation and creativity associated with the goal of building a smart and modern city that the province has focused on implementing in recent years, many innovative start-ups have been born, matured and gradually asserted themselves with brand-names in the market.

The appearance of a series of startups with a vision and mission to bring high-tech solutions and automated lines to help develop the economy and society and apply them to people's lives has created a new life of the 4th Industrial Revolution, marking a digital era, where countries and businesses are forced to join the technology games if they don't want to become lagging behind and be left behind.

Facing the common trend that the whole world is welcoming together, the provincial leaders also set specific goals. Accordingly, in the coming time, the province will focus on promoting the creative start-up movement among the people, especially young people; and at the same time, it encourages investors and businesses to develop economic models that apply science and technology with high ‘gray matter’ contents to industrial parks and clusters in the province. In order for the process of digital transformation and the creative start-up movements to take place quickly with widespread effects among the people, the province has also assigned Department of Science and Technology, Union of Science and Technology Associations, the departments to sectors and localities actively connect and support schools, scientists, businesses and young people.

Mr. Nguyen Viet Long, Director of Department of Science and Technology, said that in order to support start-ups to promptly complete legal procedures and join the bigger playground, the provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Science and Technology to construct the Center for Innovation and Community Initiatives (BIIC). After 3 years of operation, BIIC is now a reliable destination for young people and entrepreneurs when they need support and connection. Mr. Long said that in the coming time, the Department of Science and Technology will continue to well perform its functions and tasks of State management and business support localities, departments, organizations and businesses wishing to accelerate the digital transformation process and realize scientific and technological ideas.

Young people confidently express

The Department of Science and Technology, as the lead unit, has organized many meaningful and pervasively action programs. In addition to the forums, seminars, exhibitions, and courses on innovation, which are organized periodically to attract the participation of thousands of guests from organizations, businesses, and provinces, they also make an excellent mark succeeded with the successful organization of many contests and contests on scientific and technical creativity.

Mr. Nguyen Xuan Ngan, Standing Deputy Chairman of the Union of Science and Technology Associations of the province, said that under the direction of the province, in the past time, the association has successfully organized many competitions and contests on creativity so that many creative ideas and models have been successfully incubated. These contests and competitions also contribute to spreading the spirit of entrepreneurship and creativity among the people, especially young people, by helping them confidently express themselves and daring to dream and daring to act.

In the post-COVID-19 context with many difficulties and challenges andin addition to finding and incubating new innovative start-ups, the province is also interested in supporting businesses to carry out digital transformation to survive and continue to develop. According to experts, in order to maintain a competitive advantage, businesses are forced to innovate in their operation, production and business processes, etc. However, at what scale is digital transformation and at what time do businesses need to clearly identify their potentials and advantages to follow the appropriate route by avoiding stereotypes, machinery and causing unnecessary waste?

In today's flat world of unlimited creativity and borderless business, young people with an agile mindset are more likely to succeed. Mr. Pham Thanh Hung, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors of Cen Group, said that if they timely grasp the trends and needs of the market, businesses, no matter how large or small, will be very successful. Capturing the market's trends and needs requires accurate and agile observation, thinking and judgment, and all of that is possible in an enthusiastic young person.
