Province tightens control over red-eared turtles
Under the instruction of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development on tightening control over red-eared turtles, provincial People’s Committee Chairman has just instructed provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Development to join hands with the local media to launch propaganda campaigns to raise public awareness of the harmful effects of red-eared turtles in particularly and exotic creatures in general that are harmful to the environment; mobilize locals to hand over red-eared turtles to relevant agencies (if any); collect and destroy red-eared turtles to avoid their development to the natural environment; strength inspection and ban all activities relating to the trade, transportation and breeding of red-eared turtles; impose serious punishment on violators.

Samsung plans to invest additional US$1 bil in Bac Ninh
Samsung group is urgently finalising documents to invest an additional US$1 billion in the Samsung Bac Ninh Hi-Tech Complex, according to Hai Quan (Customs) newspaper.
