US$1 billion worth of foreign direct investment has been disbursed in the first two months of this year, equivalent to 91 percent of the same period last year, reported the Foreign Investment Agency.

Nguyen Xuan Truong, director of Phu Hung Thinh electronics center in Di An town, said “Binh Duong household electronics market has become jubilantly. Birth of Thien Hoa, Cho Lon has made business work of local small electronics centers face difficulties”.

After a strong development in HCMC and reaching many successes, big companies of Cho Lon electronics supermarket, Thien Hoa, Nguyen Kim started bounding for provincial markets to increase their sales. Nguyen Kim electronics supermarket now has 10 centers across Da Nang, Bien Hoa, Vung Tau provinces and will set up more centers in Binh Duong and Binh Phuoc provinces in the coming time. Meanwhile, Cho Lon electronics supermarket now has 18 supermarkets nationwide. In the past year, Cho Lon developed 6 more supermarkets throughout provinces encompassing Binh Duong.
