Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Thien Nhan, Head of central government’s directing board on implementing Decision No. 1956 made by Prime Minister after August 29’s online conference with 63 provinces in the beginning of 2011 regarding vocational traininig in rural areas has called for actions. An anti-crime club just made debut at Phu My ward. The newly established club has 10 members including local safeguard forces. This is a voluntarily established-model under the leadership of the ward party committee and People’s Committee and Public Security.
Poor youths and people enjoy charity houses
The provincial Youth Federation Union Committee just handed a charity house over a poor youth Tran Tuan Kiet in hamlet 7, Tan An commune, Thu Dau Mot town. This is one of houses granted in the 2011 volunteer summer campaign.
Prudential Binh Duong grants scholarships to poor students
Prudential Vietnam Insurance Company’s Binh Duong branch just granted 30 scholarships, each worth VND500,000 to talented disadvantaged students in Di An town and held a client conference to exchange its information for clients. Prudential Vietnam grants many scholarships to local poor students.

To encourage talented disadvantaged students, Ben Cat district’s Long Tan commune Women Society granted nearly 160 gifts to local poor students on the occasion of the new school year of 2011-2012. The gifts were worth of nearly VND6mil earmarked from the society fund for poor children.

32 charity houses given to needy youths
In August youth unions at all levels started building 4 charity houses for 4 poor youths, instructed needy youths to complete procedures of loans and set up loan teams worth over VND500mil.
Provincial Farmer Society excels helmet program for farmers
As of the end of July, 2011, the provincial Farmer Society and the Supportive Center for Farmers’ Southern branch jointly held a program on changing old helmets for new ones in line with the Vietnam Farmer Association’s Document No.80-CV-HNDTW dated Feb.14, 2011 on changing old helmets for new ones.
