Binh Duong provincial Youth Union in cooperation with Vietnam Central Youth Union and the provincial board of traffic safety will launch a traffic safety month and Day for young workers and traffic culture at My Phuoc Industrial Park Theatre in Ben Cat district on Sept. 18.

To implement month of traffic safety, from beginning of September, traffic police officers have maintaine measures to restrain traffic jams and accidents in major streets. Up to date, traffic safety has been significantly transformed.

 On the occasion of the 2011 Full Moon Festival, Long Khanh Temple in Tan Uyen district just held a full moon festival for 300 local children. Aside from lanterns and moon cakes, poor students enjoyed gifts. Nun Thich nu Lien Dieu, head of the temple, said the temple spent VND12mil to grant gifts to talented disadvantaged students. This is to encourage them to reach good academic results.

On the occasion of Full Moon Festival 2011, many units and localities across province granted gifts to poor kids. Tan Uyen district just held a full moon festive day with the theme of “full moon night”.
