The Vietnam-Japan grand music festival will take place at the Opera House in Hanoi on October 9.

 A delegation from the National Assembly’s Committee on Culture, Education, Youth and Teenagers worked with the Hanoi Municipal People’s Committee to review laws and policies on child abuse in the 2008-2010 period on September 10.  

In the afternoon of September 08 (the 11th of August in lunar calendar), a ceremony was held in Culture and Sports Center of Thuan An Town to commemorate passed away artists and talented people who contributed to tai tu music – a traditional type of music in Vietnam.

On Sept. 3, Truong Thi Tuyet Nga, director of Vu Anh international general hospital in the HCMC paid a gift visit to Que Huong Humanitarian Center. Nga granted US$20,000 to help improve the center material facilities.

 Five Vietnamese artists, Hoang Ly, Bui Cong Khanh, Nguyen Minh Phuong, Le Thua Tien and Pham Huy Thong, have been nominated for the Asia Pacific Breweries Foundation (APBF) Signature Art Prize 2011in Singapore. 

“Make the world cleaner” campaign in Binh Duong will be launched in mid-Sept with a goal to mobilize all society to join in the campaign. Individuals, organizations and businesses will set out significant activities for environment by various ways, contributing to raise awareness on environment protection and urban rejuvenation.
