In the early days of spring 2025, coinciding with the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3, 1930 - February 3, 2025), Binh Duong province commenced the construction of the Ho Chi Minh City - Thu Dau Mot - Chon Thanh expressway. This expressway holds significant importance for the socio-economic development of Binh Duong province and, upon completion, will facilitate connectivity and foster growth in the Southeast region, thereby expanding urban and industrial areas. Furthermore, the completion of the Chon Thanh - Gia Nghia expressway will enhance connections with the Central Highlands region, promoting regional integration and socio-economic advancement while ensuring national defense and security.
