More than 40 rural youths in Phu Giao district enjoyed a training course on farmstead economy with contents of agricultural production in line with GAP standard, farmstead building and management and so on.

On the meeting commemorating the 61st year of the sector, vet staffs, officials and cadres have reviewed 61 years of operation. In 2010, the vet department has vaccinated 11 doses to poultry together with free vaccination against foot and mouth disease, cholera in pig, etc. Besides, the department has controlled slaughering activities. Phu Giao district has worked out 25 works on rural traffic and urban rejuvenation in the first half of the year.

Becamex IDC has just fulfilled its projects of building 50,000 social houses. Accordingly, these houses will be built in 19 places under industrial-service-urban zones invested by Becamex IDC with a total floor area of nearly 1.5mln sq.m.

Reaching 13 out of 19 criteria in line with the local program on building new rural areas, Tan Uyen district’s Thanh Phuoc commune has led in economic development from other localities.

Binh Duong has so far had favorable conditions to excel a program of building new rural areas. A survey showed that at 29 chosen communes for building new rural areas, there are 8 communes reaching 10-15 criteria and there are no communes winning 19 criteria.

The provincial Party Committee’s action plan on “Improvement of local manpower quality for 2011-2015 period” has showed importance of quality of manpower in the int’l economic integration period. Part 2: strengthening supportive measures for poor households

More than 80 staff who are in charge of personnel in province-based businesses attended a workshop on “Importance of the labor law for personnel staff”, which was co-held by provincial Job Center, Thien Khoi Personnel Solution Co.Ltd. and provincial Personnel Club.

Provincial Job Center has just organized its 36th job transaction floor, drawing more than 1,800 laborers.

 The environmental protection law will be valid as of January 1, 2012, or after five months. The environment tax, in the immediate time, will be imposed on eight categories of products which are considered to have big impacts on the environment.

 A forum on child protection was organized by the Thanh Hoa province Department of Labour, Invalids, and Social Affairs and the World Vision Vietnam on July 12.
