Bau Bang district Farmers' Society just held the summing up conference on the movement of good farmers in production and business for the period of 2012-2014. After 3 years of implementation, the movement of good farmers in production and business at the Bau Bang district Farmers' Society at all levels mobilized more than VND610mil for the support Fund for Farmers. Besides, the society in cooperation with the Bank for Social Policies offered loans worth VND22bil for 886 farmer households to develop home-based economy. The society at all levels cooperated with functional agencies to build nearly 31 pilot new nursling growing locations. Until now, the entire district has had 9,264 farmer households winning the title of good farmers in production and business. At the conference, the society launched the support program for farmers and reached more than VND180mil. The provincial People’s Committee vice chairman Vo Van Minh just paid a working session with leaders of the provincial department of Information and Communications and standing members of editorial board to learn about operation of the provincial website and project of building provincial e-information portal. The provincial website is under operation of 2 versions in Vietnamese and English. In the past year and in the first half of this year, the provincial website has updated and collected 1,423 news, photos in total. In addition, the website has updated more than 450 legal documents, added and adjusted 1,100 provincial level administration procedures, 226 district level administration procedures, 159 commune level administration procedures as well as timely updated working schedule of the provincial People’s Committee. As for information secret-keeping, the provincial Center for E-Information has timely solved 20 attacks caused by foreign IP addresses, 232 by secret and 200 by administration password scanning.
