Binh Duong Daily had an interview with doctor Pham Ngoc Thai, Chairman of provincial Association for Victims of AO/dioxin on the occasion of the 52nd anniversary of Vietnam’s Day for Agent Orange/dioxin Victims. He said:

The difficult case of Son Long Thanh, born in 2011, was mentioned via many writings on Binh Duong Daily’s “Hay goi den chung toi” (Call us) charity column. As a result, Long was funded for his heart surgery from provincial Support Fund for Children.

The US Agency for International Development Health Policy Initiative (USAID/HPI) will showcase its results at a workshop from 8am on August 14 at the International Convention Center, 11 Le Hong Phong, Hanoi.

Since early 2013, the Job Placement Center under provincial Women’s Union has introduced jobs to 314 laborers; recommended 33 job applications and organized 14 vocational training classes for 221 learners…It is known that the center has also opened a class on hairdressing taught by foreign experts for 10 learners

Provincial Youth Union’s Project of “Unitizing and gathering Binh Duong’s young workers in the 2011 and 2015 period” has contributed to taking care of young workers’ spiritual and material lives after two years of implementation. Additional 1,380 sub-unions with 49,498 members were set up during the period. Of these, there were 793 youth sub-unions with 29,839 members.
