Tan Uyen district has just held its third mobile propaganda competition, with the participation of 18 out of 22 communes and township.

The People’s Committee of Dat Cuoc commune in Tan Uyen district and provincial Department of Justice have just co-held a legal support program for nearly 200 locals and workers at the Dat Cuoc Industrial Park.

Provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism in collaboration with provincial Department of Justice has launched a propaganda program for popularization laws and prevention of domestic violence in 2013 from March 21 to April 5  through seminars in Tan Dinh commune (Tan Uyen), Dinh Thanh commune (Dau Tieng), Tru Van Tho commune (Ben Cat), Hoa Phu ward (TDM city), Binh Hoa ward (Thuan An town) and Tan Binh ward (Di An town).

In the first quarter of 2013, Thuan An town disbursed in allowances and paid visits as well as gave Tet gifts for social beneficiaries and 4,245 difficult people within the area with a total budget of VND10.797 bln., of which the central and provincial budget was VND6.205 bln.

A delegation, led by Huynh Thi Hong Thu, Vice-Chairman of provincial Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs cum Deputy Head of provincial Steering Board of the National Week on Labor Hygiene, Safety, and Fire- Explosion Prevention, on April 1 and 2, visited and presented 10 gifts worth VND26ln to 4 laborers seriously hit by accidents at workplace and the families of 6 victims who died of accidents at workplace.

A ceremony to launch the 15th National Week on Labor Safety and Hygiene and Fire and Explosion Control was held in southern Binh Duong province on March 29, in attendance of provincial People’s Committee Vice-Chairman Huynh Van Nhi, who is also Head of provincial Steering Board of the National Week on Labor Safety and Hygiene and Fire and Explosion Control.

Ben Cat district’s Steering Board of Voluntary Blood Donation Mobilization, on March 29, coordinated with the HCM city-based Cho Ray Hospital’s Center for Hematology and Blood Transfusion to organize a humanitarian blood donation campaign with the participation of 295 Youth Union members. As a result, 295 units of blood were collected.
