On March 22, the Central Steering Board for the National Target Program on New Rural Construction, headed by Pham Hung Anh, Deputy Director of the Department for Facilities, School Equipment and Toys of Children under the Ministry of Education and Training, made an inspection tour of implementation of the National Target Program on New Rural Construction in the southern province of Binh Duong.

Provincial People’s Committee Vice-Chairman Tran Van Nam, on March 21, presided over a meeting to hear reports about investment and construction of key works from leaders of provincial Department of Transport and Public Works, provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, provincial Management Board of Construction Projects, Binh Duong Water Supply and Environment One-Member Co.Ltd.,…while discussing methods to transfer them to provincial Management Board of Construction Projects.

According to Di An town’s People’s Committee, the whole town disbursed VND94.1bln in basic construction capital in the first three months of 2012, including VND56.8bln from construction lottery source and VND37.2bln managed by Di An town.

Source from provincial Department of Construction said that the Department’s Inspection gave administrative punishment to 4 wrong cases regarding construction with a total fine of VND120mln in Q1 2013.

A weekend playground, held at the 3 region sub-society in An Hoa hamlet, Hoa Loi commune, Ben Cat district, attracted numerous young workers  groups of young workers in polite costumes registered to participate in a singing contest. Earlier, nearly 200 young workers enjoyed a collective birthday party.

On this occasion, the ward youth union in cooperation with the volunteer team promulgates legal regulations for young workers.

On these days, Phu Giao district farmers have positively prepared water source for farming. Many farmers herein said that this year’s dry season would be harsher than previous years. Many of them have worried about shortage of water for farming.

Building strong trade unions

In addition, all level trade unions have worked with related agencies and employers to promulgate legal regulations for laborers.
