Provincial Department of Population and Family Planning has just extended a communication campaign in association with population and family planning services to densely populated areas and those with difficulties in the province.

Provincial Business Bloc’s Youth Union and other Youth Unions have just launched the “Green Sunday” campaign, making environmental hygiene at a market in Binh My commune’s Dong Sac hamlet in Tan Uyen district (photo).

Provincial Youth Union and its affiliates last year organized 527 stages of environmental hygiene with many practical activities, including tidying up streets, martyrs’ tombs; mobilizing business households and residents to use paper bags, keep hygiene and not to leave litter disorderly…, with the participation of more than 51,942 turns of Youth Union members under the “Voluntary Saturday” and “Green Sunday” campaigns.

The Center for Natural Resource Conservation and Research of the Phu An Bamboo Village under HMC City University of Natural Sciences has just held a bamboo festival in Ben Cat district, luring more than 300 arrivals of tourists from home and abroad. Coming the festival, tourists had a chance to visit the Phu An Bamboo Village and enjoy introduction about a collection of “Vietnamese bamboo” as well as the role of this kind of tree in basic scientific research and daily application.

Early March 14, provincial Customer Rights Protection Association held a ceremony to mark World (March 15) and a seminar on “Executing the Customer Rights Protection Law”.

In 2012, provincial Steering Board of the Project “Improving young people’s awareness of the law” held many significant activities, including delivering 18,000 leaflets on law dissemination; providing free legal consultancy for youngsters at 9 law offices; organized nearly 1,500 shows on legal consultancy in all aspects at sub-unions for youth workers…These activities contributed to making a positive change of awareness and action among youngsters about executing State’s laws, ensuring social order and security…

Along with many other key tasks, provincial Industrial Parks(Ips)’ Management Board will focus on requiring investors of the IPs to recheck and adjust plans on land arrangement to build boarding houses for workers while working out construction of boarding houses for workers under the province’s program to develop houses for workers at IPs in the 2011 and 2015 period.
