The owner of a flower shop was a group of students pooling and carrying out “trading campaign”. Their toolkit was only a water bucket and huge flower bunches bought from Sai Gon or Da Lat markets. On the opposite side of the street, many male students also made their little flower shop ready for customer service.

The Union established 5 social evil and crime prevention clubs including 221 members, 66 social evil prevention teams with 929 members, and increased the numbers of existing clubs by 47 with 1,100 members.

Promoting emulation movements

In the past year, women movement of “women help each other develop household economy” offered non-interest loans worth over VND7bil for poor sisters. In addition, the union introduced jobs for local needy sisters with an income of VND3-4mil per capita per month. Especially, the union mobilized to grant 8 charity houses worth nearly VND300mil for underprivileged women.

Di An town’s Women’s Union has implemented many substantial activities for the local women, including speeding up task of propaganda and education among them, mobilizing them to build up happy families…, with the goal of enhancing their position in family and society.

To improve results of high school finals and university entrance exams in the academic year 2012-2013, provincial Department of Education and Training (DoET) has carried out inspection tours of administrative, teaching, and training activities at provincial high schools within March and April.

A ceremony to launch the 26th provincial “Green Sunday” campaign was held in Tan Uyen district on the morning of March 3 with the participation of nearly 600 Youth Union members and pupils.
