Tan Uyen City Labor Federation recently held a conference to review union activities for the first six months of 2025. Since the beginning of this year, trade union activities in the city have seen many innovations, focusing more on assigned targets and tasks. The propaganda and mobilization efforts have been effectively implemented, leading to positive changes among union members and workers. Grassroots trade unions have excelled in caring for the lives of union members and workers.
Throughout the year, the City Labor Federation has organized numerous meaningful activities, particularly during the 2025 Lunar New Year, providing 2,000 gifts with a total value of 2 billion VND. Additionally, grassroots unions have contributed over 38 billion VND to support workers.
The "Workers' Month" activities in 2025 and the "Month of Action on Occupational Safety and Health" were enthusiastically embraced by affiliated trade unions, with many innovative models and effective methods introduced. Furthermore, the City Labor Federation has allocated 1 billion 380 million VND to support more than 1,380 union members from 186 grassroots unions who have unfortunately suffered work accidents, occupational diseases, serious illnesses, or face difficult circumstances.
During this occasion, Tan Uyen City Labor Federation presented emulation flags to one collective and awarded certificates of merit from the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor to six collectives and 15 individuals for their outstanding achievements in the emulation movement promoting good workers and strengthening the trade union organization in 2024. Additionally, the Executive Committee of the Provincial Federation of Labor awarded emulation flags to four collectives and certificates of merit to 49 collectives and 70 individuals for their remarkable contributions to the emulation movement and the development of a robust trade union organization in 2024.
