Vietnam and New Zealand on May 28 signed an official assurance programme for the export of dragon fruit from Vietnam, making it the first and only country approved to sell the fruit in New Zealand.

Many Thai businesses gathered in Ho Chi Minh City on May 28 for a forum on franchises between the two countries, in the hope of seeking partners in the market of 90 million people.
