Specifically, Dong Hung Co.Ltd. (Citimart) will launch the market stability program at Phu Giao district; Co.opmart at Tan Uyen and Ben Cat districts; VinatexMart at Thuan An, Di An and some areas at Ben Cat district; TDM Trade-Service and Investment JSC at Dau Tieng district; Big C at the remaining areas. Number One mini supermarket alone will hold 11 goods selling locations at industrial parks and compounds in the province.

Under the campaign of “Vietnamese people give priority to using Vietnamese goods” and the program of “Bringing Vietnamese goods to rural areas”, the Center for Trade Promotion and Economic Information under provincial Department of Industry and Trade organized a market-day of “Bringing Vietnamese goods to rural areas” at Dinh Hiep primary school in Dau Tieng district’s Dinh Hiep commune from November 2 to 24.

Provincial People’s Committee Chairman Le Thanh Cung, on November 25, received and worked with a delegation of Japanese enterprises, led by Nagaki Yoshihiko, Vice President of the International Friendship Exchange Council of Japan (FEC) cum President of the Japan-Vietnam Cultural and Economic Exchange Committee. After three-year implementation of the national target program on new rural construction, Dau Tieng district’s economic structure has been shifted towards the growth of industrial manufacture and services. So far, there have been 99% and 100% of the local people in use of power and clean water, respectively; the ratio of laborers herein with regular jobs has reached more than 90%; the number of poor households has reduced to 2.14% of total; the average income per capita has gained VND27mln a year.

In 2013, Binh Duong province’s People’s Credit Fund system has continued stably operating and bringing high efficiency.

The Consumer Price Index (CPI) in November slightly rose by 0.34 percent against last month, the lowest increase over the last five years.

According to the provincial Finance Department, the local CPI in October rose 0.2% compared to the previous month. Of this, group of food and service increased 0.62%; beverage and tobacco decreased 0.31%; housing, electricity, water, energy and building materials reduced 0.47%; group of traffic declined 0.23%; household equipment and utensil jumped 0.07% and other goods and service increased 0.2% and many more.
