During the meeting, after hearing the reports from deputies of the province and city’s People’s Committees on their performance over the past five months and the tentative agenda for the upcoming mid-year session of the People's Council, voters in An Dien ward voiced various opinions and recommendations to the deputies.
Voters raised several issues, including policies and procedures regarding the construction of swiftlet houses along the Thi Tinh river, installation of street lighting systems, access to clean water and construction permit procedures. They also requested continued attention to road development and proper electrical infrastructure for the Rach Bap residential area; clarification and policy support for part-time officials when they resign and solutions for localized flooding along segments of provincial road ĐT748 to prevent traffic accidents. Additional concerns included the need to address the issue of stray dogs and environmental pollution caused by local livestock farming.
Local authorities responded to some of the issues raised. For matters beyond their jurisdiction, deputies of the province and city’s People’s Council took note of the feedback and committed to forwarding the concerns to relevant departments and agencies for review and resolution. Responses will be provided to voters in the next meeting.
