On the morning of June 10, the 12th People's Council of Thuan An City, tenure 2021 to 2026, held its 18th session, a special meeting to review the council's activities over its term and to make important decisions before transitioning to a new administrative structure.

During the meeting, the People's Council accepted three significant resolutions: approving the final settlement of the state budget for 2024, modifying the medium-term Public Investment Plan for 2021-2025 for the eighth time, and adjusting the public investment plan for 2025 for the second time.
The council also reviewed its five years of operation, in which the People's Council held 17 meetings and passed 88 resolutions aimed at addressing local development needs. Efforts to enhance supervision have resulted in numerous discussions on topics such as public investment, environmental sanitation, land use, food safety, and health.
Notably, Thuan An City People's Council organized 147 meetings with voters, addressing more than 1,600 opinions and recommendations, which were either responded to or forwarded to the relevant authorities. This engagement has contributed to improving the quality of urban governance and increasing citizen satisfaction.
As part of an organizational restructuring plan, Thuan An City will transition to a two-level government model on July 1, marking the end of the City People's Council's operations. Therefore, the 18th session will be the final meeting of the 12th People's Council.
