Early June 9, the People's Committee of Phu Giao district held its 58th meeting of the 2021–2026 term to approve draft proposals for reorganizing public service units in accordance with the implementation of the two-tier local government model.
At the meeting, the district’s People's Committee presented and approved several draft proposals on the reorganization of public non-business units and affiliated administrative agencies. Key contents included the draft proposal for reorganizing the district’s Center for Culture, Sports and Radio; the draft proposal for restructuring the district’s Public Works Enterprise; the draft proposal to reorganize the district’s Children's Center into a public service unit under the new Phu Giao Communal People's Committee and the draft proposal for restructuring the school system at the preschool, primary and lower secondary levels.
The draft proposals aim at streamlining the administrative apparatus, enhancing operational efficiency, saving State budget resources and ensuring the quality of public service delivery under the two-tier local government model. The restructuring process is also designed to ensure consistency in line with the local specific characteristics and the district's socio-economic development planning orientation in the new phase.
