Binh Duong University and Engineer Institute of Russian Academy of Science inks important deals
A delegation of the Engineer Institute of Russian Academy of Science led by professor – Ph.D Gulyev Yury Vasilevich on Jan. 27 attended a scientific seminar with Binh Duong University. At the seminar, professors, PhDs of the Institute presented achievements of wireless and electronic technique and so on. Concluding the event, the two sides inked many important deals of establishing a branch of the Engineer Institute of Russian Academy of Science at the University, opening post-university training courses for the university’s officials and among others.
Bao Minh Insurance compensates over VND1,113bil in 2009
Bao Minh said that it had to spend VND1,113 billion to compensate for clients in 2009, a 6.7% rise over last year, accounting for 56.4% of its total revenue. Compensation mainly was in fields of aviation (up 65.5%), asset (74.3%), and human (19.2%). The highest compensation in the past year was in the fire case in New Yoto plant in Binh Duong with the sum of over US$6mil.
