Tan Uyen district’s Thanh Hoi commune authority and people welcomed a certificate of the national archaeological relic for Rua Islet yesterday.

So far, there have been 120 province-based businesses announcing the Tet bonuses  to laborers, according to provincial Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs (DOLISA).

On the Tet 2010, provincial IPs’Trade Union will team up with provincial Dance and Song Ensemble to organize four art performance nights for workers who cannot return home for Tet. These music shows will take place in IPs of Dong An, Binh Duong, Song Than and Dong An II from December 22nd January to January 7th of the Lunar Calendar.

Provincial General Hospital’s trade union local provided free eye examination for more than 400 lepers at Ben San lebers’hospital in Tan Uyen district’s Khanh Binh commune.

Members of the provincial Businesswomen Club have targeted to help the unlucky as much as possible. They plan to build one charity house every quarter. At present, they granted 14 charity houses worth VND270mil to the unlucky.

Senior lieutenant-colonel Bui Thanh Phong, vice head of Thuan An district Public Security on Jan. 21 unexpectedly presented merit certificates to the Vietnam – Singapore Industrial Park’s guard team for its achievements of crime control in the IP. In Aug. 2009 alone, the guard team arrested 6 offenders. Notably, the team captured Pham Van Loc from Soc Trang Mekong province who caused a series of robberies and rapes. On the occasion, 21 individuals of the team were awarded merit certificates.
