4,800 milk gifts presented to needy children
On the occasion of attending the event of the Holland Village 2013, FrieslandCampina Vietnam Co. gave 4,800 milk gifts for the Medical Committee Netherlands-Vietnam to support needy, disabled, malnourished and orphan children in the provinces of Dac Lac, Khanh Hoa, Phu Yen and Quang Tri.
Binh Duong further supports storm victims in Kon Tum
Early November 25, a delegation of Binh Duong, led by Nguyen Tan Loc, Vice-Chairman of provincial Fatherland Front Committee (FFC), donated VND200mln from Binh Duong’s Party, government and people to the FFC of the Central Highlands province of Kon Tum to support locals hit by natural disasters.
Program on vocational guidance held
Since September 2013, provincial Job Placement Center has organized a program on vocational guidance at 15 high schools in the province, aiming to raise the local high school pupils’ awareness of vocational learning and offer them career orientations in the future.
Charity kitchen at Dau Tieng General Hospital continues being improved
Since 2009, Dau Tieng district’s Red Cross Society has joined hands with Lien Tri pagoda in Dau Tieng township to set up a charity kitchen at Dau Tieng General Hospital with the hope of sharing difficulties with poor patients.
Inspections on implementing domestic violence control launched
The inspection work will assess activities of meetings at units and clubs for domestic violence control. Especially, the delegation will review and inspect number of violent cases found out at quarters, hamlets.
