Responding to the “Tet for the poor in Lunar New Year 2013”, the whole country organized to visit and present gifts to policy beneficiaries and the poor on the Lunar New Year (Tet).

The aid agreement was signed in Hanoi on February 7 by Minister Delegate for Francophony Yamina Benguigui and Vietnamese Deputy Finance Minister Truong Chi Trung.

Representatives of province-based religious organizations, on February 6, visited and offered Tet greetings to provincial Party Committee, People’s Council, People’s Committee, Fatherland Front Committee, Public Relations Committee, Police Agency…

Early February 6, provincial Labor Union arranged for 14 buses to take  600 employees to their hometowns in the central province of Phu Yen and northern provinces for the Tet (lunar New Year) festival 2013.

*Dau Tieng district’s Minh Hoa commune has just coordinated with HCM city’s Youth Union and Hoc Mon General Hospital to provide free medical check-ups and medicine for the elderly and the poor in the commune with a total expense of VND20mln.

Tet visits to heroic mothers

*Thuan An town’s People’s Committee has just coordinated with the Thuan An branch of Vietnam Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development to present 445 Tet gifts to pupils with difficulties at town-based high and secondary schools with a total expense of VND98mln.

Nhan’s difficult circumstance was written on Bao Binh Duong Newspaper. At the age of over 80, Nhan has to take care of his child with mental illness. The money was contributed by Le Cong Kieu Trade JSC at Kim Huy Industrial Park in Phu Tan ward, Thu Dau Mot city.
