Early April 14, the General Department of Vocational Education under the Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor in collaboration with the International Organization for Migration (IOM) and Binh Duong provincial Labor Union held a training session to improve skills through the online learning platform congdanso.edu.vn for more than 500 workers taking jobs for province-based enterprises at provincial Center for Culture and Arts.

Reporter of the training course shared information and skills to access the congdanso.edu.vn online learning platform for trade unionists and workers. This platform includes 22 courses on such topics as skills on job connectivity, job application, interview, startup, digital self-protection, teamwork... With this platform, workers can install a software on their own computers or smartphones and study outside working hours to equip themselves with more professional skills to meet rigorous job requirements at present, especially without the cost of learning.
Do Hong Van, Head of the Women's Department under the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor said that the online learning platform congdanso.edu.vn belongs to the project on supporting digital transformation for employees through enhancing workmanship, educating lifeskills for workers, thereby changing their thinking for self-learning to improve necessary skills, adapting to the current digital transformation cause.
