The week of Young workers (YW) in 2013 has just begun and promised to create many more wholesome playgrounds for YW at localities. The close coordination between sectors and agencies has encouraged YW in production and bring a dynamic rhythm to lives of YW.

With the goal of building up a harmonious labor relationship, Binh Duong has just kicked off a ceremony to launch the 6th Week for Young Workers and the 2nd Workers’ Month. This event aims to express the attention of authorities at all levels to young workforce who now live and work in Binh Duong.

Binh Duong Junior College of Arts and Culture has just kicked off a picture exhibition on Vietnam’s resistance wars to mark the 38th anniversary of Southern Liberation and National Reunification (April 30, 1975-April 30, 2013).

Provincial Youth Unions at all levels have made efforts in organizing vocational training classes in line with each locality’s features. This has contributed to generating jobs for youngsters, helping them rise up out of poverty.

Over the past time, TDM city made strong changes in the movement of “The entire people consolidate to build up cultural lifestyle”, contributing to improving the intellectual standards of people, promoting socio-economic development, stabilizing political security and social order herein.

Pham QuocTru, deputy head of the Vietnam Permanent Mission to the United Nations, the World Trade Organisation (WTO) and international organisationssaid that Vietnam has made every effort to clear bombs and mines left from the war over the past several decades. He added that after the war ended in 1975,more than 20 percent of Vietnam’s territorial areas were polluted with bombs, mines and explosives. So far, nearly 4 percent of the land has been cleaned up.

The second prize went to Italian and Japanese teams, while the Russian team and host Vietnam pocketed the third prize.

After 38 years of national liberation, Binh Duong’s socio-economic performance is now on way of sustainable development. The spiritual and material lives of laborers herein have also seen obvious changes.

Right from early April, the provincial Transport Department sent documents on transport management to public transport units. Dam Trong Cuong, vice director of the department said that the department asked public transport units to raise awareness on transport for drivers and to ensure safety, hygiene on buses for passengers.

Binh Duong is always a bright spot of the whole country in terms of hunger eradication, poverty reduction and employment creation.

Early April 25, the People’s Committee of Ben Cat district and provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Development co-held a meeting in response to the 2013 National Week on Clear Water and Environmental Hygiene. Attending the event was provincial People’s Committee Vice-Chairman Tran Thanh Liem; representatives of provincial sectors, departments and mass organizations; leaders of Ben Cat district and district-based firms together with armed forces, Youth Union members, pupils across the district.

This is the theme of the 2013 National Week on Clean Water and Environmental Hygiene.
